Next Generation Missions
2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”
Dear Friends,
Again, it is so good to be back in ministry in Uganda! We want to update you all on our progress towards purchasing newer vehicle to replace our old, worn-out, moldy car. We have been renting a clean, well-cared-for van since May 3rd as we look for a car to buy, but renting becomes very expense. Now we have found a small late-model coupe in good condition that will be perfect for getting around the city and short visits to the village. We can’t get a bank loan here, so we have to come up with $22,000 cash to purchase the car. We will be selling our old car and a motorcycle, and we are thankful for the $3,255.00 that has been given towards this project so far. If you can help at all, contributions of any amount would be greatly appreciated!
In June we will be interviewing our national pastors as we make a new video presentation to share with churches in America. It is amazing what God has done in the past 33 years! The national leaders we have trained and helped to plant churches are now training new church planters (2 Timothy 2:2). Our vision to establish a church-planting movement here in Uganda is coming to fruition!
Please continue to pray for our health challenges, as life can be stressful here. We are both dealing with long-term health issues that seem to be aggravated here on the field. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Yours in Uganda,
Russ & Sylvia Daniels
