Dear Friends,
In January, the Ntare Bible Baptist Church in Mbarara hosted the Independent Baptist Fellowship of East Africa revival conference with the theme of The Great Commission. Pastors and church members from all over Uganda and Kenya attended the week-long conference. Special speakers included Ugandan and Kenyan pastors as well as BBFI Mission Director, Jon Konnerup, BBFI missionary to Kenya, Jim Eberhard, Independent Baptist missionary to Rwanda/Uganda, Greg Schoof, and ADVANCE Global Director, Greg Dixon, who participated by Zoom. I also had a couple of chances to speak.
Everyone who attended the conference was challenged to do their part to fulfill the Great Commission by giving to faith promise missions, praying for missionaries, and even going to the mission field. One of the speakers was a Kenyan missionary taking the gospel to England!
Having our Mission Director, Jon Konnerup, here for that week was a real encouragement to us. He also did a couple of interviews with me for the 938 Podcast. You can look up podcast episode E57 on the Project 938 website: http://www.project938.world.
We also want to thank all of you for your prayers and special contributions after our burglary at the end of October. It took a while, but we have finally been able to replace our stolen computers. I still have a lot to do to get certain programs reinstalled and to redo much work that was lost, including sorting out our financial records for the past few months. Hopefully we will be able to send printed prayer letters by mail again soon. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you.
Yours in Uganda,
Russ & Sylvia Daniels
