Fifth Annual IBFEA Conference
Dear Supporters and Friends,
In January, the Independent Baptist Fellowship of East Africa, started by Pastor Naboth Atusasire, held its fifth annual conference in Tororo, eastern Uganda. Pastors and church members from Independent Baptist churches all over east Africa were invited for a week-long conference of preaching, teaching, and encouragement. Over 500 people attended, coming from all over Uganda, as well as from Kenya, Tanzania, Congo, Rwanda, and South Sudan. There was also a special speaker from the United States.
There were morning and evening preaching sessions and afternoon separate teaching sessions for
men, women, youth, and children. A highlight of the Conference was the Wednesday afternoon soul-winning excursion in which 46 people were led to Christ! One of those who made a profession of faith was the mother of the host pastor, John Jaluge! He had been praying for her salvation for many years.
After the Conference, Pastor Naboth and a group from Uganda crossed the border into Kenya to visit three new church plants that were started in 2023. On Sunday, at Makutano Bible Baptist Church, Pastor Naboth preached to a congregation of 200, and one person responded to accept the Lord as Savior. Please pray for IBFEA and their church-planting efforts throughout East Africa.

• Pray for Global Baptist Training Foundation professor, Dr. Bruce Snavely, teaching church planting trainers in Uganda next week.
• Pray for Pastor Naboth and the new church plant, Rwantsinga Acts Bible Baptist Church, near Mbarara.
Yours for Uganda,
