Dear Friends,
Atusasire Bright Atwine is the first-born son of Pastor Naboth Atusasire. We have known him since he was a baby in his mother’s arms. Now he is all grown up and serving the Lord as Assistant Pastor at Ntare Bible Baptist Church in Mbarara. In November, Bright married Mercy, and together they have started a new Youth Ministry at NBBC.
Bright wrote: On 21st December we had a Christmas party and it was good seeing the youth invite their fellows. One of them is Alvin, schooling at Ntare School, and I led him to Christ. He invited his friends, and jointly we organized the Christmas party together with others in the Youth Ministry at Church. Many from all over the community attended, had fun, snacks, cutting of cake, celebrating Jesus, and learnt about making good choices and avoiding bad choices. I also shared from Matthew 1:21 explaining why Jesus was born to save us from our sins.
We also did a Christmas Talent Show on 16th December whose theme was The Purpose of Christmas. One of the youth, called Gift, composed a song that will be produced in studio and out before Christmas to help many know the true biblical purpose of Christmas.
Prayer Requests
✓Pray for the ministry to keep moving on and to get better broadcasting devices to reach youth via media.
✓Next year we are planning to officially launch Bible Believing Youth, a ministry that will impact youth for Christ not only at Church, but even globally.
✓At Church next year we are to host a youth camp in partnership with Scripture Union.
