NEW ENGINE NEEDED!!
Dear Friends,
In October 2022, while on hospital visitation, Pastor Naboth led a young man named Geoffrey Nuwagaba to Christ. Geoffrey invited Pastor Naboth to his village home where he led Geoffrey’s wife, two children, and two of his brothers to Christ. Pastor Naboth continued visiting and discipling the family, and since there is no Baptist church in that area, he would bring them all in to town on Sunday mornings to attend Ntare Bible Baptist Church.
Later, Pastor Naboth led a man named Abias to Christ who lives in just 5 kilometers from Geoffrey’s home. Six of Abias’ family members also got saved, and then Pastor Naboth started bringing them into town on Sundays for church as well. So every Sunday, Pastor Naboth drives on rough dirt roads to pick up all these people and bring them in to church, completely overloading his van! In April, Pastor Naboth shared to me his burden to see a new church planted in this village area.
This past week, Pastor Naboth was invited for a special meeting to share the gospel with the whole village. However, the day before the meeting, Pastor Naboth’s vehicle broke down and had to be towed in to town. The mechanic said it needs a new engine, which will cost $1,300.00. The devil is fighting this evangelistic outreach, but Pastor Naboth is trusting God to make a way. If God so leads, you can get involved in this new church plant by contributing towards the cost of a new engine for Pastor Naboth’s van. Contributions can be sent to us through BBFI marked “New Engine.” Thank you!
Yours in Uganda,
Russ & Sylvia Daniels
